Advanced Black Belt Training Member USKMAF Certified by KiDoHwe Georgia Mountain HapKiDo (GMH) is a private martial arts club located in Cornelia, Georgia. We specialize in advanced black belt training in the art of HapKiDo. Our approach is based on traditional HapKiDo Sun Moo Kwan principles and techniques the way we believe they were meant to be learned (jun tong do). As those principles and techniques are learned we add real world application self defense “enhancements” to the traditional techniques with the intent of enabling our students to defend themselves on the street and not just to spar in a controlled martial arts school environment. GMH is not a black belt mill, nor is it a place for beginning martial arts students. It is an opportunity for serious, dedicated black belts who understand the true meaning of martial arts and self defense to practice and improve without the hassles, pressures and compromises of a typical commercial environment. GMH students train hard, train seriously and have fun doing so. We believe that openly enjoying serious training creates the best environment for learning. We consider knowledge to be far more important than rank. Membership in GMH is by invitation only and anyone who is interested must not only be a HapKiDo black belt but must be recommended by a currently active GMH student. Acceptance of a new student by GMH will be conditional pending observation of the new student’s attitude and compatibility with our current members.
